A judge from the Academy Nicholl Fellowships Commented:
"A powerful story filled with emotion. Tess is a mess after getting into a car accident that takes the life of her friend. Buzz is the older man in a truck who ran her over and is having to deal with that as well. What’s most interesting is that they come together in a way that’s not expected. Buzz knows who she is, but she doesn’t realize he’s the “old man who ran over my friend.” It’s a powerful story that keeps us engaged because we know its eventually going to come to a head. She’s going to find out and it’s all going to burn down."
From Scriptapalooza Coverage Service:
"I felt you did the best with Buzz’s storyline. Watching him heal and struggle with learning how to let Billie live on her own life ... I found it quite emotionally compelling. By the end, I felt that Buzz learning how to move past his trauma and accept a new life along with forgiveness was a pertinent lesson that I found thought-provoking… Well done."
